May 6, 2008, is the official publication date of the new book from Lark Books, Masters: Glass Beads.

In September of 2006, the editors at Lark asked me to serve as the 'curator' for this book, which in some ways is a follow-up to another Lark Book, 1000 Glass Beads.  My job was to choose 40 contemporary glass bead makers to be invited to be in the book.  I also chose the photos to be included and wrote a brief introduction to each bead makers work.  Finally, I was also asked to write the introduction to the book.

This was a long and involved project.  However, I am very pleased with the final results and I think you will be as well.

The book will be available in bookstores soon and will start shipping from Amazon in early May or earlier.
